GitHub Auto-Push
A personal experiment.
Commit and push without the terminal.
Auto Repo-Pusher is a small Windows app for pushing a project to GitHub without opening a terminal. You paste the folder path, paste the GitHub repository link and press “Push project”. The app handles the Git steps behind the scenes, from setting a new folder up as a repository to dealing with errors.
It is aimed at people who know their project is ready but are put off by command-line Git, initialisation steps and error messages.
- 01

Paste the path to the folder on your computer.
- 02
Point it at GitHub
Paste the link of the repository you want to push to.

The app initialises the folder as a repository if it needs to, pushes your files, and handles errors for you instead of leaving you at a cryptic message.
Released as a free tool for Windows on itch.io.
